For this week, I would like you to "decompose a process into a series of steps (using the methodologies of problem decomposition we learned in our lab assignments). This is often a very useful skill in a variety of different high-stress contexts (military tactics, political maneuvering, business positioning, etc.) but also surprisingly extends to the design and implementation process of many different kinds of engineering systems. You will be given a few different scenarios that I would like you to decompose into a series of process steps. Each of these process steps can be conceptualized as "pieces of a program that we will put together in order to accomplish a given task for that process. 1.) You are a business owner in a service industry sector who is tasked with providing the best pizza to your guests. Describe each of the steps of the customer's experience from the moment of pizza-craving ideation to the moment the customer leaves your restaurant. Now describe how the restaurant will manage the customer's interaction at each step i.e. from the moment of advertising to the customer to the moment the customer leaves the restaurant). 2.) You are the managing director of a hydroponic farm which covers 25 acres. Describe the process steps required to determine how you will pick the best plants to grow for a number of different scenarios (i.e. consider the location of the farm, does the farm have climate controls, equipment acquisition, etc.). Describe the theoretical costs associated with each of these design decisions and what criteria will you use to determine what is necessary equipment? Visualize and describe the process of steps that a hydroponic farm needs to perform from the moment the crops are planted to the moment they are harvested. Describe what is necessary to achieve each of those steps within the process
