For instance, were you the sole decision maker, or were you a member of a hiring committee? Member of a hiring committee. 3. What role was your organization trying to fill? Sales Associate. 4. Briefly describe the applicant, without mentioning the person's real name. Young Male. Dressed Properly. Positive Attitude. 5. What did the candidate do especially well or poorly? He was attentive. Made eye contact. Participated in the interview. Answered questions well. The only "poor" aspect was the lack of experience, but he looked as an excellent prospect for training. 6. What was the ultimate outcome? Was the applicant offered the job? If so, did the applicant accept? If the applicant accepted, did this person turn out to be a good colleague?
