How is workplace organized and work assigned? Through county Supervisors based upon the need to the county and specific program.
When a person is assigned a responsibility/task, are they provided authority to carry out the task? The information they need to do it? How is this communicated? Yes, and Yes. Supervisors have an open-door policy/individual supervisions/staff meetings/emails.
How closely are staff supervised? What types of things are supervised? Are tasks supervised? Functions? Employees? Closely depends on the employee and where they are in their career. Group Supervision/Individual Supervision. Supervisors encourage continuous growth and knowledge
How are decisions in the agency made? Is information collected from people who will be affected by the decision during the decision-making process? The higher ups try to get feedback from the individuals working with our clients. We are trying to include other people than just management but have a hard time getting people involved due to the time commitment and not having hours waived for client care.
Do employees feel valued? Why or why not? How can you tell? Do employees believe they are making a contribution to the organization? The majority are pleased. Most recent complaints are fear of running like a corporation.
How does the organization handle conflicts? How do you know? County Supervisor then County manager (team members and clients). If not resolved at County Manger level a formal complaint/grievance is made. If still not taken care of it goes to Chief HR.
What programs or services does the agency offer? Adult and Youth services: Counseling (Individual & Family), SUD, Housing, MH, BH, MAT, Psychiatry, Inpatient.
Are service goals and objectives based on empirical evidence or evidence from past evaluations of services? How do you know? Power BI, and client care service.
Are the services consistent with the goals and objectives of the programs? Yes
Are there enough staff assigned to carry out the services that are designated to be provided? Are workload expectations reasonable? Yes and yes.
Is there a common understanding between management and staff about problems that need to be addressed, which populations to serve, what services to provide, and what client outcomes to be achieved? Yes, expectations are clear. We do this by using ICP's, staff meetings and again in Supervisions.
Are outcomes clear enough that program success or failure can be measured and determined? Yes, power BI, client surveys, financial reports, and agency partners.
