Founded in 1895 as the New York Zoological Society, the Wildlife Conservation Society (www.wsc.org) was one of the first conservation organizations in the U.S. The Society began with a clear mandate:  advance wildlife conservation, promote the study of zoology, and create a first-class zoo. It currently operates the Bronx Zoo, Central Park Zoo, Queens Zoo, Prospect Park Zoo, and New York Aquarium.  Beginning in the 1860s as a menagerie, the Central Park Zoo was the first zoo in New York City, and, at 6.5 acres, is relatively small.  Annual paid visits to the zoo, which includes the Tisch Children’s Zoo, are estimated at 1.3 million.

The sponsorship contract would transfer all naming and marketing rights associated with the zoo to your company for the duration of the contract.  Your company would have strategic and creative influence on the marketing of the zoo, including integration of your company’s brand with the zoo experience in unique, yet appropriate ways.  This may include social media campaigns, public relations, events, and the development of special exhibits in consultation with WSC.
