Four groups of participants were randomly selected from KINE 1000. Onegroup was fed a balanced diet containing fats (F), proteins (P), and carbohydrates(C) called the FPC group. The diets of the other groups were identical except thatone of the three nutrients was absent, with a different deficiency for each group.After three days under these conditions, all subjects were required to run anobstacle course as a test of their physical fitness.
