Four large tank at a chemical plant contain different liquids being heated. Liquid- level sensors are used to detect whenever the level in tanks A or B rises above a predetermined level. Temperature sensors in tanks C and D detect when the temperature in these tanks drops below a prescribed temperature limit. Assume that the liquid-level sensors outputs (A and B) are LOW (0) when the level is satisfactory and HIGH (1) when the level is too high. Also, the temperature-sensor outputs (C and D) are LOW (0) when the temperature is satisfactoryand HIGH (1) when the temperature in either tank C or tank D is too LOW. You are assign the task to computerize the above by design a combinational circuity to monitor the performance of these tanks. a. Prepare the truth table for the problem (20 points) b. Give the Boolean function for output F (15 points) c. Simplify function F is SOP and POS using K-map, simplify further if possible using factoring. (25 points) d. Draw the gates network using the most efficient minimum number of gates. (15 points) e. The employers also requested to provide an alternative design: (25 points) -using only NOR gates - using only NAND gates
