About a month ago, Helena was going about business as usual filling her patrons orders, when Inez Investor sauntered into the store. Inez told Helena that she has $100,000 she would like to invest in a new business venture, and Inez thinks that opening "Helena's Heladitas" in her own hometown couldn't miss. Inez told Helena she wants o pay Helena $25,000 up front, supply 100% of the operating capital for the new store, and pay Helena continuing payments based on the amount of revenue the new store generates. In exchange for these payments, Inez wants Helena to provide her with a trademark license, design assistance, the names of her suppliers, her point-of-sale configuration, and of course Inez wants Helena to train her on the secret method Helena uses to fry the ice-cream without melting it.
