Frank, suffering a heart attack, has been given only a few weeks left to survive. Reflecting on his life, Frank invites his close friends (Dee, Charlie, and Mac) over and shared with each how he appreciates all they have done for him. He additionally gives each of them specific items of personal property, mostly jewlery, collectibles, and some cash. Dee, Charlie, and Mac leave.

Weeks later, Frank learns he has been misdiagnosed and is not going to die. He now reaches out to Dee, Charlie, and Mac explaining his good fortune and that he would like his property back. They all refuse.
