Fred and George Weasley form a partnership selling toys, gimmicks and magic props.

Their business is called Weasley Wizards. George enters a contract to buy wands from

Ollivander for the sum of RM 10 000. Olivander delivers the wands but George refuses to

pay as he says Weasley Wizards have no money to pay for the wands. Olivander has

filed a case against Weasley Wizards as a partnership and Fred and George in their

individual capacities as partners.

Unknown to Fred, George receives a shipment of stolen wizarding artefacts from

Mundungus Fletcher. The police raid their shop and seize the stolen goods. Both Fred and

George are arrested.

Fred wants to bring an action in court against George as he is of the view that George had

not fulfilled his duties as a partner and that he had unnecessarily implicated Fred in a

criminal case. He also informs you that the partnership was not registered and asks you

whether this would have any adverse effect on his business relationship with George.

Advise Fred on all the issues arising from the activities conducted in the above scenario.
