Adam & Beth had been married for many years when Adam died unexpectedly, without making a will.  His estate is worth £870,000.  Adam and Beth have three children, Philip, Elizabeth and Margaret, and four grown-up grand children. Philip had three of the grandchildren but tragically died several years ago.  Elizabeth has the other grandchild; Margaret has not got any children.
