Functional Business Requirements

You are responsible for developing the business requirements for a start-up e-commerce company as a part of the Information Systems Project. The goal of the project is to develop a new e-commerce information system infrastructure for the e-commerce start-up company which sells organic eco-friendly products. The design should include the cloud services infrastructure, as all of the companys information technology will be implemented in a hosted solution in the cloud (including all applications, servers, data storage and management, and security).

Scope

Develop the functional business requirements (scope) and scope control in accordance with the areas below. For each area, describe several strategies to incorporate the area into the overall project.

1. Applications (to meet target production date, these applications will be implemented)

2. Sites (these sites are considered part of the implementation)

4. Interfaces

5. Architecture

6. Conversion (the following data and volume will be considered for conversion)

9. Training

Scope Control

Change control will manage changes to the scope identified in this document. Any changes affecting project costs and timelines require business owner approval.
