Fuyao decided to lease the building to a nearby firm to collect rentals, and the building was measured by the cost model thereafter. The fair value of the building on December 31, 2019. was $300,000. Assume that there is no change in the useful life of the machine over time. Fuyao Company uses straight-line depreciation for the building.
