However, the only place big enough to hold the concert has recently been shut down. There were a bunch of complaints about noise and light affecting people in and around the concert venue. We have to fix the venue's problems so it can reopen in time, otherwise the band will perform for the second place school! The biggest complaint was from local residents who were really bothered by the loud noise coming from the concert venue. Their windows would shake and rattle, and keep them up when the bands played late into the night. Some of the residents have little babies and the loud noises were making them cry. The parents are concerned about the noise hurting the babies' developing ears. They are strongly against reopening the venue. Another problem is that the venue's owner has received complaints that she had signs with inappropriate words hanging at her venue. The nearby neighborhood is full of families. They were upset and offended that the concert venue was showing a crude word. Penelope, the venue owner, doesn't understand how this could have happened! She's provided a few photos for evidence. Penelope was also having issues with the venue's laser light show. The lasers are hidden underwater. They are supposed to shine up out of the water and onto the screens at the venue. Instead, the lasers are shooting into the crowd and some concert-goers have complained of eye pain! Penelope really wants to host the concert!
