Give a CRITICAL ANALYSIS of a legal issue raised by ONE marine related activity (either transport, fishing, mining, recreational, etc...) in relation to ONE of the law of the sea related legislation in ONE Pacific island country and explain how this legislation balances out conflicting interests compared to UNCLOS.

Notes:

1. This research paper will test your knowledge and understanding of the international law of the sea generally as well as your knowledge and understanding of its application in one Pacific Island country. It will also assess your ability to critically analyse one specific Law of the Sea issue in one PIC (eg IUU fishing, maritime boundaries, marine protection, a recent event relevant to Law of the Sea in your PIC etc).
