give feedback on expand on Stress comes in everyone's lives for many different reasons. Stress response can be due to many causes being sex, age, race, culture, personality factors and previous stressor experience(Anisman, 2015 pg. 3)

Vulnerability and resilience being one reason for why someone react differently to stress. Resilience is the ability to bounce back from something whether that be an illness, tragedy, unexpected hard time etc. (Anisman, 2015 pg. 13) Vulnerability is the level of ease to fall susceptible to an illness. Genetics, poor parenting, chemical mixes within the brain or poor early life development can all affect these two things (Anisman, 2015 pg. 13)

Age is a second reason for why people may react differently to stress. Stressors that are dealt within a women prenatally can affect pathologically later on the in life for the mother (Anisman, 2015 pg. 17) Life transitioning periods, can also carry a huge affect on the person pathologically down the road (Anisman, 2015 pg. 17)

Sex plays a role in the reaction we may see in different people. Women unfortunately deals with more stressors than men, for example, child birth, taking care of the home, caregiver to a sick family member etc. (Anisman, 2015 pg. 18) Women are also more likely to develop autoimmune diseases, post traumatic stress and major depression (Anisman, 2015 pg. 18) Men typically approach stressful situations looking at the bigger picture verse females who tune in to the finer details (Anisman, 2015 pg. 18)

Personality can play a key role into the reaction of people to stress. People who have an optimistic approach tend to lean more on the side resilience verse people who have a pessimistic look on things (Anisman, 2015 pg. 18) Optimists also have a better ability at regulating hormonal and immunological stress response and have a lower chance of going through a burnout/ depression (Anisman, 2015 pg. pg. 18)
