Give me your thoughts about this: In returning the reading it is evident that the change theory that resonated with me was the model by Pettigrew and Whipp. In their strategic management of change they discuss three distinct parts used to start, review, and make lasting change in an organization. The three parts they name are context, content, and process (Kathleen, et al.,2016). Context involves all the external and internal factors that make change possible (Klarare, et al., 2020). Content is the change that needs to occur (Klarare, et al., 2020). Finally, process involves everything that will be utilized to elicit the change (Klarare, et al., 2020). It is in the process that the materials that elicit the change are used (Kathleen, et al. 2016). The model allows for change that encompasses all the factors which should be examined to ensure lasting change.
