Given the high and growing salaries of physicians and surgeons in USA, the abundance of Sino dollars looking for borrowers, the federal government's 100,000-residency cap on federal funding, and growth in the number of applicants for residencies that exceeds growth in the economy, why is there not more private financing of medical residencies in the United States?
