Major Project Guidelines

General Instructions:

Working in groups of five, students will select one country in Latin America and the

Caribbean for in$-$depth analysis. The perspective is that of a management consultant

working with an established company to enter the selected country. Your client may be

either a manufacturing or a service operation but is interested in establishing a physical

presence in the selected country. The company is not currently doing business in the

region. You are tasked with conducting the research on this country and producing a

report to the company$$s senior management. Your country analysis will form part of a

wider feasibility study which would include a comprehensive financial analysis, entry

strategy and development of a marketing plan. These aspects of the work are not part of

your brief
