Go to the case study(will post the case study below) to view the data on where beds are being manufactured now. How many can be produced within a normal month? What did you learn from the previous weeks' work for the direction of where the beds should be manufactured?

As you develop your operations strategy, be creative. There is no wrong answer; however, you must be able to explain your direction. You can even propose an extension to the overall timeline if you believe that is in E-MAGINE's best interest.

Next, you will write the section, Sustainability and Impact(will post the section information below), The template outlines what you should cover in the section.

The section that needs to be completed will be below:

Sustainability and Impact

All plans must address sustainability and impact. Every business developed has had some impact on the economy, society, or the environment, and the CEO wants to know up-front how the proposed venture can/will impact all these areas. Is this a one-time order or is this a sustainable venture where E-MAGINE could start being a supplier in South America? In addition, there is an environmental impact of possibly manufacturing overseas. E-MAGINE has a strong reputation for being sustainable. The plant in Memphis, TN is LEED-certified.

If the venture has a favorable impact on any of the above, the chance of sustainability is greatly increased. In keeping with this theme, think about the type of potential waste that may be generated by the business. Will the business adequately and compliantly recycle, or dispose of the waste it creates? Right now, the Mexico plant handles refurbished beds, how will these be handled? Remember the language difference. Could the wheels on the bed or other parts be used in another product that E-MAGINE offers?

Often the way a company addresses these issues can create separation from its competitors. All things being equal, if the production environment of the proposed business proves to be a greener, more planet-friendly alternative, it could create separation from competitors on this element alone. Forward think on this issue and try to project future impact on the company and product line growth.

These reviews were strotegically chosen as they cover all the customer segments and have the trending strengths and weaknesses. These beds were a godsend. We needed another shipment right swsy and it delivered within three days of ordering it. The idea that my patients can lay on a bed that raises their head and feet and help them get out of the bed when I'm not right there or I can't lift them, huge help! We love these beds at our nursing home. I sugfest that snother person help ss these beds are s little hesvy to move around, they are sturdy which is important but not easy to move. I ordered a hospital bed for my husband who is bedridden and dying of pulmonsry fibrocis. We were in desperate need, so I bought one from this company which advertises its speed to the customer. The truck arrived on August 6 and the driver told me he had 3 boxes for me. But he only dropped off 2 . One box contained the rails and the other contained only a footboard, 4 casters, and half of the springs. I immedistely placed a phone call and talked to someone there and she tried to get a hold of the warehouse. She then said she'd call me "right back". It never happened. Giving up I called on Monday (August 10) and resched Kate who started a "quality". She gave me an investigation number and then told me that somebody would call me within 48 hours. I never received any phone call or email I called todsy (August 12) and reached Nathsn who told me that "Tim" would be calling me today. It's been hours and nothing. It's now been a week since this started, and it appears that this company is stealing my money in exchange for a useless harf of a bed. On Monday, when I was given a quality investigation number, I should have been shipped a bed, 20 I could send the "haif bed" back. This is crazy. I bought this bed for my mom. I looked for other hospital beds before I decided to buy this one. The main reason for this one is it can help her get out of it. My only complaint is it's heavy, 4 people to carry. The seller has given very detailed instructions beforehand on how to move it and now I understand why. My experience, as a nurse, so far with the customer service has been great. We had some beds that wouldn't stop ringing the nurse's station, even though the potients were still in them. I called and within moments customer service had identified and fixed the problem. I was neglected to be told that the bed was going to come in many different packages. I ordered a bed for my mother which was supposed to arrive with all the parts on July 14th so it could be installed. That did not happen. On July 12 th "soft bed rails" came without a kit to install them to the bed frame. It was simply not in the box. I notified the compsny immediately. It was explained to me by Tom who is supposed to be the hesd of customer service that iT IS NOT THEIR FAULT THAT IT DIDNT COME IN THE BOX. The problem is that after 2 weeks, my extremely ill mother and bed bound mother with a broken leg still cannot use this bed at all or be put into the bed safely because I cannot install the side rails because they refuse to send the parts needed. This is absolute torture for my mother who is suffering from a stroke, dementia, and a fracture, not to mention myself and the aides that are trying to help her strugging because we cannot move her on regular bed which is why I bought the hospital bed to begin with. 8 Products - Hospital Beds - \#1 selling rotating pivot bed - httos://voutube/5Ffa0ukRIRI - Long-Term Care Beds - Electric Wheelchairs - Clinical Workflow Solutions Services/Solutions - Beds - Remote customer services and maintenance 24/7 - White glove installation - Customized consulting services - Health Care \& IT Professionals - Electric Wheelchairs - Customization of patient needs - Remote customer service and maintenance 24/7 White glove delivery and orientation to chair Health Care professional for long term use - Clinical Workflow Solutions Customized consulting services - Health Care \& IT Professionals - Remote customer services and maintenance 24/7 - Employee and staff training Current Operations - United States - Memphis, TN plant is LEED - Canada - Mexico Key Competitors 1.
