Goal of this project, parameters, and initial R & C choices Power supply: 12V, single sided Voltage gain: |50| or greater. Input signal: 20 mV amplitude, 10 kHz sine wave with 6V DC offset. Output load: 1k resistor Input and output coupling capacitors: 10F Biasing and feedback elements: Resistors and capacitors only. We will be building a single-stage inverting amplifier based around resistors, capacitors, and a single amplifying element, e.g. one (1) BJT. The goal of most amplifiers is to take small time-varying signals and make them large enough to detect with an oscilloscope. Thus, we will be using capacitors heavily to eliminate DC offsets, and resistors to help stabilize the amplifying element gainand prevent contamination of the signal by fluctuations in the power supply. Your task is to help me refine the basic amplifier circuit. First, we will perform a quick sanity check using Ohm's Law, i.e. power supply and resistors only, to give ballpark values for Rc and RE in P3. If we are dealing with a 12V power supply and want to keep output current somewhere between 1 to 20 mA, what magnitudes of resistor values should we be using near the outputs? Calculations are needed here
