Good day

This is the first part of my introduction. The question I am asking is below this information

Anglo American Platinum is the world's leading primary producer of Platinum Group Metals (PGM's). (What we do, 2021) South Africa accounts for about 80% of the world's platinum supplies (Platinum Mining in South Africa, 2021).

Several factors, like world oil price, inflation rate, Price to Earnings Ratio (PER), political affairs and basic metal prices will affect the stock prices of mining companies (Antono, et al., 2019) .

The weakening of the rand against the dollar has improved the metal prices of Amplats and Implats. This makes investors look forward to immensely improved cash flow generation (Mckay, 2018), and this will result in attraction for future investors.

Stating the above, research will be conducted to find if there is a correlation between Amplats share price and the price of platinum.
