This is Ms. Gorman from the sales department. We have just secured a new, multi-million-dollar account! We are so good here in the sales department of Heavy-Duty Box Inc. The manufacturing director, Mr. Tsosie, has instructed me to send this problem out to all of you as this will be a deciding factor in which of you get offered the full-time positions available at the end of the internship! Our new client, Beastie Bearings Inc., needs the heaviest duty box we make here at Heavy-Duty Box for their bearings. The following email from Ms. Venegas from Beastie Bearings provides the information you will need. Remember, our mark-up sales price is 150% of what it costs us to manufacture the product. The cheaper it is for us to produce the box, the lower the cost for our client. There is also a grading rubric attached that Mr. Tsosie will be utilizing in evaluating your work.
