Task: Assessment Criteria / Possible Evidence 1.1: Demonstrate the factors to be considered when selecting the suitable tunneling method? (M1.1) 3.2: Demonstrate the merits and demerits of the cofferdam foundation (M1.2) 5.1: Explain in detail the construction method to mitigate the further damage to the dam. (M2) 2.1: Name the required machinery for the construction. Draw a typical neat labeled sketch of an earth dam and explain in detail the construction method. (M3.1) 4.2: Demonstrate in which ways a railway track is subjected to action of water and drainage systems used to prevent this with necessary free hand sketches.
