Grayson is an avid vintage car collector. He sends an email to his friend Hubert about the sale of his 1964 Cadillac Coupe de Ville at a forthcoming auction.

He tells Hubert that he will buy the car for $21,000 and says: "Listen Hubert, you won't get a better price in the current market. If I don't hear from you, I expect you to pull the car from sale and contact me the next day about arrangements for delivery."

When the auction comes around, Hubert does not contact Grayson and leaves the car in the auction list.

The auctioneer sells it to another car collector.
