Group Project Rubric: Your team is a web development company and your client is a small business, selling a product line. Each group must create a business name for their web development company (suggest creating a logo). Discreetly advertise your own company at the bottom of your clients new website. Choose a typical small business as your client such as a jewelry store, pool supply, pharmacy, parts store, clothing store, office supply, etc. Be creative. Your client needs for you to develop an e-commerce internet store presence. The Group Project is in two parts: 1. Your Company is to create a proposal for your client. 2. Assume that your proposal is accepted; now create a web site for your new client. (must provide an html file that can be opened in a browser does not need to be live.) The proposal paper must include: Title page listing all team members Table of contents Abstract Body (at least 8 pages; include students names that owns topics) Conclusion o References page. Paper Format 12 pt font Times New Roman Cover sheet and references page are counted as extra pages. Cover sheet must include Team members names Suggestions that you might include: o Milestones o Work breakdown Design process Database access Testing phase Gantt chart Heading of the paper tells what the client is looking for from your Company Body should tell what the Web design firm is offering o Ending should cover the break down and the final implementation costs The web site download must include: Shopping cart A file with the underlying HTML5 code used All web contents (photos and graphics used) Any scripting (CSS3 and JavaScript files used etc.) Be aware that a typical commonplace website will not earn your group an A. Features that show more product details or even interact with the customer are more likely to get full marks
