Due to strict lockdowns and covid 19 related travel restrictions, the arrival of international students was significantly dropped. As a result, he could not pay the agreed lease price of $ 5000 a week. When he discussed the matter with Maya, she agreed to reduce the amount by half for 2 years, but no written agreement was entered into. However, after two years when the pandemic is over, Maya contacted Harris and informed him that she will sue Harris unless he pays her the forgone amount with interest.
