Healthcare Workers (HCW) are repeatedly exposed to SARSCoV2 infection. The aim of a recent study was to identify factors associated with SARSCoV2 infection among HCW in one of the largest cities in Colombia.

Participants were randomly (simple random sampling without replacement) selected, with approximately equal numbers, from those identified as HCW with a positive RT-PCR test for Covid-19 and from those identified as HCW with a negative RT-PCT test for Covid-19. The outcome status was confirmed with the database of epidemiological investigation of COVID-19 in healthcare facilities compiled by the local health authorities of Cali and during the telephone interview.
