Hello, a friend gave me this problem that i'm not sure how to approach. 24(-17), 13(11), 39, 76(2), 63(13)(-17), 63(-4)(8) I assume a message is encoded, but I have no idea how to go about solving. If anyone could solve and show me how it was done, so i could send a message back in the same format that would be amazing. There is also a second one: 9(10), 40(-3),1,55(16),40(-3),118(-3)(6), 70(10),104(8)(17),103(-6),18(8)(17) Thank you! Edit: sorry but unfortunately I don't have much context here, I was hoping someone had seen something similar before. Upon searching It looks similar to something that may be able to be solved using Fermat's little theorem or modular exponentiation; but all I know is that there is (most likely) an encoded message (as a sentence or string of letters) and there is some method to decipher this
