Hello Class, The name that prefer people to greet me with is Taylor. I currently work in healthcare administration as well as getting my degree in it. I currently work from home and do patient registration, referrals, and insurance verification for an ophthalmologist. I worked there eight years ago and then had my second son and just recently went back to work for them over a year ago. I think I have roughly 6 more classes left until I graduate. When I am not working I am taking care of my four sons and we are typically at the beach surfing. We live in Hawaii so we are blessed with great weather year around. The course objectives relate to my current job because we are always evaluating the quality and safety required in healthcare planning. We also must assess the strategic plans for ethical issues. My expectations for this course are that I am excited to learn more about the planning process as well as using analytical tools in planning to a specified community. I do plan to work at the same job after I complete my program. My plan is to move higher up in the business though. There is a surgical coordinator position that I have been interested in. I don't need a degree for it, but having more experience and a degree will be a plus! I am excited to see what this semester holds and wish you all the best of luck!
