Hello, everyone. I can't believe this is our last week together. I hope I will see many of you in my next class. I learned so much from your experiences and knowledge on this subject. I appreciate all the feedback from those who replied to my discussion replies and helped me understand many topics each week.

Identify the top three concepts or skills you learned in this course that you believe will be the most useful to you in your current or future professional career or education along with rationale as to their importance to someone in the field of business statistics.

Given my limited experience with statistics, I have learned something each week. Starting with week 1. We learned the different ways to collect data and how important having the right amount of data can truly be to your test/hypothesis. Even after the data collection method is chosen, there are still different aspects of knowing what should be included in your data sample. Once your data is collected, a chart can be created representing the data to be viewed more easily, which brings me to Week 2. We went straight into what kinds of charts there are and which one is appropriate for the type of testing you want to do according to the data collected. Being able to create bar charts, scatter plots, and line graphs in Excel is not something I've had to do on a regular basis, and the practice of doing so in class for assignments helped me understand how beneficial they are. For example, learning some line graphs have dots that connect to represent trends that help businesses make decisions and predictions, while other charts that have dots that do not connect can still show a relationship between variables, which can also help businesses with data interpretation. A third lesson came the very next week in week 3. We had to create a frequency distribution chart determining how many loaves of bread a grocery store sold. This week we also learned about the bell-shaped distribution. Which, of course, helped throughout the remainder of the course. I learned a lot about normal distribution and what to look for according to standard deviation degree changes. Before this class, I had no idea what that looked like or how to graph it. Each time we had an assignment, I learned more and continued building on my knowledge and skill set. Now I am more confident about using the equations we've learned about and how to graph them.

I am sitting in week 11 feeling grateful for all the lessons Dr. Barrios taught us. I am so thankful for Dr. Barrio's and Jesse's help when I struggled. I am also thankful for all of the students in this class who helped me understand each concept as we covered them. Without everyone's experience, help, and guidance, this class would have been more difficult and challenging for me. Thank you to you all! As I stated, I hope many of you are in my next class!
