Experiment (1) Objective: The objective of this experiment is to study the single-phase full-wave controlled rectifier and how it used to control the speed of a separately excited DC motor. Equipment: MATLAB Software. System Under Test: Given the systems below. 7 T21 V = V sin or 0000 TL +V TZ T22 Part 1 (Simulation): Test the single-phase full-wave controlled rectifier using Matlab power Simulink toolbox under resistive, inductive and separately excited de motor loads. The test will be conducts as per the load parameters given tables 1 and 2: Table 1: At a = 0 R = 10 22 R=50 12 R = 102, L = 0.1 mH R= 10 92, L = 0.5 ml V. (Volt) 1 (Ampere) At a = 30 V.(Volt) 1.(Ampere) At a = 90 V.(Volt) 1.(Ampere) At a = 30 At = 60 At a= 90 At a = 120 Table 2: DC Motor V. (Volt) 1.(Ampere) Speed (rpm) Part 2 (Simulation): Draw the voltage and current waveforms for: a- Resistive load when a = 30 and 90 at R= 10 22. b- Inductive load when a = 30 and 90 R=10 22 and L = 0.1 mH c- Separately excited dc motor when a = 30 and 90. Part (3) Conclusion: Comments on the results in Tables 1 and 2
