Hello Guys, Hope you are doing well I need help with this assignment.

and here is the link for this assignment. its an online course, and we should get the data from that link

Procedure:

  1. Change the focal length to 18.8 cm and adjust the height of the object to 21 cm using the slide bars.
  2. Collect data for image distance (di) and the height of the image for the given object distances and record the image distance (di) and the height of the image in table 1 in the data section.(Pay attention to the sign)
  3. Repeat the step #2 for focal length 26.3 cm and the height of the object is 21 cm.

(Note: In both cases, the distance to the object is larger than the focal length of the concave mirror)

  1. Use the Dataand the graphs to answer the questions in the analysis section.

Data Table 1

Focal length of the concave mirror (f) = +18.8 cm

Height of the real object (ho)which is upright = +21 cm

Distance to real the object (do) (cm)

Distance to the image (di) (cm)

Height of the image (hi) (cm)

Here's a basic observation based on data in tables 1 and 2: As the object distance increases, the image distance Answer (increases, decreases, remains unchanged). (2 points)

There are two questions.

What is the lateral magnification (m) of the image for distance to object is 32.5 cm? (Note there are two ways you can calculate the magnification. Show your work for both methods) (6 points)
