I have a question for the case Lucy v. Zehmer (196 Va. 493. 84 S.E.2d 516 (1954), a seminal case for the contractual element of agreement. I would like to know why the court found there was adequate consideration and what was the big point to decide the result. Also, I would like to know if there is any chance a change in the facts of the cause which would have determine a different outcome from result.
