Include the sources of your information in MLA format, Susan Wojcicki Susan Wojcicki was born in California in 1968. Both her parents were educators. When she was 11, she began selling spice ropes. (Spice ropes are usually braided from yarn. Spices like cinnamon and cloves are wrapped in small bits of fabric and then attached to the rope.) Susan would make these and sell them door-to-door for people to hang in their homes. After she graduated high school, she majored in humanities at college and then went on to earn degrees from Harvard, the University of California, and UCLA. She graduated from UCLA in 1998, which was the same year Larry Page and Sergey Grin incorporated Google. Together with Susan, they set up a small office in Susan's garage. She had experience working in marketing and as a consultant for two different companies. In 2014, she became the CEO of YouTube. Though Susan's entrepreneurial spirit started early with the spice ropes, it seems like she was influenced by her parents to continue her education. At first, she wanted to earn a PhD in economics, but when she found she was interested in technology, she changed directions, which is inspiring.
