Hello

My dependent variable is group membership (categorical)

My independent variable is affection (continuous)

My control variables are age (continuous), gender, (binary) race (categorical), and anxiety (continuous).

My interaction terms are age*affection, gender*affection, race*affection, and anxiety*affection.

Do I need to mean-center age, gender, race, and anxiety to avoid collinearity problems?

I do not think I need to mean-center gender and race. Maybe only mean-center age and anxirty?

Thank you very much.
