NJ Institute For Pain Relief LLC is a multidisciplinary practice providing pain management, sports medicine, chiropractic care, physical therapy, acupuncture, orthopedic surgery, and spine surgery, including non invasive surgical procedures.
Highly skilled, fellowship trained, and board-certified providers help our patients achieve an improved quality of life through individualized care. With a comprehensive approach and the most advanced minimally invasive treatments, our providers treat all types of acute or chronic pain, effectively and safely.
We are seeking a medical coding and billing specialist for our pain management group to join our team in Linden, New Jersey. As a medical coding and billing specialist, you will work closely with our providers and their health care administrative team to help our patients achieve an improved quality of life.
High School Degree
5+ Years Experience (pain management and/or orthopedics experience a plus)
Certified Professional Coder a plus.
Good Organizational And Time Management Skills

Medical Billing and Denials, Wayne, NJ. $20 to $25.hour
9 am. To 5:30 pm
Working knowledge of ICD-10 codes and CPT codes as well as government and other payer billing and collections rules and regulation.
Knowledge of Nextech/Athena billing process.
Knowledge of medical policies per insurance carrier.
Knowledge of ophthalmology terminology.
Experience verifying insurance benefits.
Ability to understand an insurance claim (Explanation of Benefits).
Knowledge of the insurance denial process.
Experience speaking to insurance companies.
Work closely with collections in coordinating efforts regarding appeals, denials, resubmissions, and inquiries related to determination of payment.
Knowledge of authorizations, excellent follow up.
**Must be able to multi-task, be a team player and have great communication skills**
