Summarize Data Using 3D References

1. Open JuneEntries.xlsx and save it with the name 4-JuneEntries.

2. With AttendanceSummary the active worksheet, summarize the data in the three park worksheets using 3D references as follows:

a. Make cell B7 the active cell and then create a 3D formula to sum the attendance values in the three park worksheets for day 1. Copy the formula into the remaining cells in column B to complete the summary to day 16.

b. Make cell E7 the active cell and then create a 3D formula to sum the attendance values in the three park worksheets for day 17. Copy the formula into the remaining cells in column E to complete the summary to day 30.

3. Type the label Total Vehicle and Individual Entrances in cell A24 and create a Sum formula in cell E24 to compute the grand total for the month. Apply the Comma format with no digits after the decimal point.

4. Preview the AttendanceSummary worksheet.

5. Save and then close 4-JuneEntries.xlsx.
