There is an old saying that if you "cut out the middleman you will save money on a product". Considering what you've read about distribution channels in these marketing chapters do you generally agree or disagree with this statement. Do wholesalers and retailers provide value to the producers of products and the buyers of products? Or, do they mostly just inflate the price of the products we buy?
