Suppose a ball is rolling along the track. The ball is given a quick push so that it is rolling uphill when it passes point A. Subsequently the ball turns around at point B, and is rolling downhill when it passes point C (which is the same location as A). Assume the ball speeds up whenever it is rolling downhill, slows down whenever it is rolling uphill and rolls at constant speed on a level track. In addition, assume that the ball stays on the track unless it rolls off of the track's end. If it rolls off of the end, a dotted line shows the ball's path as it flies thru the air
