do a time time study where time values must be recorded inseconds to either one or two decimal places. Note: A full buggycontains 36 Jeans and the sewing operator marks the pay ticket onceper buggy.

When you do your time study you must:
1. Decide how to divide the job into elements.
2. Decide how to rate each of the elements.
3. Decide on the proper frequency for each element.
4. Include ALL the work activities which are in the movie,including both repetitive and intermittent work elements, andconstant work elements and variable work elements.
5. You need to time everything the operator does from the beginningof the movie to the end of the movie, except for a partial workelement at the very beginning or very end of the movie.
6. If a work element appears to be edited and some of the work isnot shown in the movie, you should record the actual time for thatelement as it is shown in the movie. In other words, do not omitsome work elements because they may have been edited.
7. If there are foreign elements, you must code them and analyzethem correctly.
8. Summarize the results and report the Total Standard Time toperform the job. The Total Standard Time should be the number ofseconds per jean.
9. You must use a 20% P, F, and D.
10. The Elapsed Time is the sum of all the time values from Column11 on your Time Study Form. Show the Elapsed Time in the lower leftcorner of your Time Study Form
