Here is the starting code to help you
Photoplethysmography is an imaging technique that assesses the absorption of light by a volume of blood. During the cardiac cycle, the blood volume is periodically augmented and more light is correspondingly absorbed by the augmented blood volume. This technique is commonly used in clinical settings to quantify heart rate (i.e., the frequency of the change in light intensity). Using PPG data available from physionet.org (https://physionet.org/content/bidmc/1.0.0/ - download the data file, unzip it, access the file bidmc_data.mat in MATLAB, Include, a figure output produced from your MATLAB code. The figure should consist of two horiztonal subfigures (left is all time series data, right is frequency spectra from 0-250 beats per minute) with two plotted data each (original PPG and filtered PPG). Axes should be labeled, figures should be titled, and legends should be provided where necessary.
