Here's the scenario for building our What-if Scenario Model --
You are the manager of a gourmet food shop in State College, PA. Your customers love your store, however, your customer satisfaction surveys show that the average customer becomes increasingly dissatisfied after a 2-
minute wait. On average it takes your cashier 3 minutes to check a customer out. That means that the service rate per hour is 20 customers.
At what point do you open another check-out line to avoid wait times greater than 2 minutes, if the customer arrival rate into the queue line is 7,8,9,and 10 customers every hour? REMEMBER: Customers will be
satisfied to wait up to and including 2 minutes, but they will not be satisfied to wait 1-second more than 2 minutes.
Let's find the answer and keep your customers happy!
