Hey there,
I am actually looking for answers/inspiration for the following project which I can't find on your website:
Project
In this project, you will be required to understand the philosophy, decision-making and structure of organisations which deliver initiatives to the community, and how it affects the activities and projects.
Part A Scenario
You work at the City of Joondalup as part of the Youth Program Division which aims to deliver opportunities for youth liaison, mentoring and outreach programs that positively engage and influence youth within the community.
The City of Joondalup has developed a comprehensive strategy, City of Joondalup Community Development Plan 2015-2020, with the aim of delivering and facilitating key projects to address a variety of challenges present within the community.
The responsibility for the Development Plan is jointly shared by various partners and stakeholders including:
Commonwealth Government agencies
State Government agencies
Non-Government organisations
Private Sector organisations
Community groups and organisations.
Using the above scenario, your Manager has provided the instructions below:
1. Review the Youth Program Division's philosophy, decision-making and organisation structure, and assess its compatibility with the overall City of Joondalup Community Development Plan 2015-2020's objectives.
2. Identify any potential barriers that may arise from differences and suggest changes that will align the Youth Program with the overall Development Plan
3. Based on the suggested changes in Question 2, review the activities and projects and recommend changes where necessary. Take into consideration current funding arrangements and if these need to be amended or if new funding needs to be applied for and how this will be achieved.
4. Identify who are the key stakeholders and decision makers, based on the organisation structure, and make a report seeking approval for the changes recommended in Question 2 and 3.

PROJECT AMENDMENT REPORT
Date: 29th July 2022
Review of Organisation Structure, Philosophy and Decision-Making
Our recent review has highlighted the misalignment between our Youth Program Division and the objectives set out in the City of Joondalup Development Plan. These included:
- E.g. Different Target Age Group
We recommend that we make the following change to re-align ourselves to the Development Plan, to achieve agreed objectives and to remove barriers due to the misalignment:
- E.g. Amend Youth Program to 15-17 year old youths to match Development Plan
Activities and Projects
As a consequence of the changes above, we have identified that the following Activity/Project needs to be adjusted:
- E.g. Promote Youth Employment
Recommended changes:
- E.g. Change target age to 15-17 year old youths and decrease funding requirements
In summary, I would like to seek your approval to make the above changes. Please feel free to contact me for further information or if you have any queries.
Thank you.

Part B Scenario
It has been over 12 months since your report has been presented and all your recommended changes to the Youth Program Division's philosophy, decision-making and organisation structure, activities, and projects have been approved and implemented.
Your manager has instructed you to review the activities and projects over the last 12 months and make a progress report, highlighting the following:
1. How the activities and projects were promoted, noting the differences in confidentiality and sensitivity of information based on the following target audience:
Within the organisation
To the community
2. Identify any political, social, cultural and economic trends that impacted the activities and projects, and if these had caused any conflicts within the organisation or the community.
3. To mitigate such conflicts in future and also to facilitate effective and informed deliberations and decision-making, consider and recommend changes where required to:
Policies and procedures
Management systems and principles
Performance standards
Service quality development
Consumer focus
Enterprise agreements
Performance monitoring and review
TASK 3 PROJECT - PART B TEMPLATE
PROJECT EVALUATION REPORT
Date XXXX
Activity or Project: e.g. Promote Youth Employment
Summary
e.g. This project objective was to work with schools to assist youths between the age 15-17 years old gain employment and work experience
Progress
e.g. Over the last 12 months, this project was promoted within the City of Joondalup and through the schools and community centres, and has been very successful. This initiative was promoted via social media and through the schools. Student information had to be closely guarded and shared only if necessary to employers and with the permission of parents.
Political, Social, Cultural and Economic Trends
e.g. There was a huge interest in youths seeking employment, however due to COVID-19 and businesses struggling financially, there were fewer employers willing to consider youth employment. There were quite a few students that missed out on the initiative.
Suggested Changes
e.g. To ensure we are able to assist as many youths as possible, we will probably start engaging with employers sooner and wider.
Would I be able to get help with that?
Thanks a lot in advance.
