Hi, I am needing to plan an excursion to a animal farm with 30 children aged 4 years old. Can you guide me in the process of planning the excursion, completing a risk assessment, the process and things that I need to do in getting a bus, the travel, the things that we will need to take and how we would ensure that we organize the children throughout the excursion. For example I thought that all children could wear a coloured vest etc.. I have never planned an excursion and am unsure of what I need to do in order to meet the safety and supervision of the excursion also in creating a plan to hand to the department or higher authorities to be granted permission.
