Hi,

I am very confused in regards to comp sets and formulas for how to count out things like MPI, FMS, ARI etc. I have an excel "homework" with 13 questions in relation to this and we went through the answers with our lecture today but a lot of us are still confused.

So we had hotel 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 and when we needed to count out let's say the MPI for each hotel we started at the top with hotel 1, took it's occupancy and divided it with the average occupancy of the remaining comp set (Hotel 2, 3, 4 & 5). But if we then move on to count out MPI for hotel 2 do we not need to then take the occupancy average of hotel 1, 3, 4 & 5 instead of hotel 2, 3, 4 & 5?

Hope this makes sense, thanks.
