Hi I need help to answer this question for my Business management assessment.

The Intrapreneurial innovation that I have used in Q1, was a Non profit organisation Partnering with Airbnb

to help reduce homelessness and people sleeping on the street. I will attach my answer to question 1 below to help you.

Q2,

Developing a sustainable business model

Use appropriate analysis techniques to evaluate and select the most feasible sustainable business model for commercialising your entrepreneurial innovation.

  1. Partner with existing enterprises to produce and commercialise your entrepreneurial innovation
  2. Set-up your own enterprise to produce and commercialize your entrepreneurial innovation.
  3. Defer or abandon the entrepreneurial innovation

Question 1

answer for context:

A

Entrepreneurship and innovation are means by which individuals can help those around them, by providing goods and services that fulfil a social need. For my entrepreneurial innovation I have selected to rather use Intrapreneurship within the company AirBnB. I believe that by better utilising the infrastructure that AirBnB has we can create an internal not for profit organisation which works to reduce homeless and people sleeping on the street, all over the world.

AirBnB stands for (air bed and breakfast), it allows its users to book places to live from those willing to rent out rooms or entire houses through the site. AirBnB has a peer-to-peer business model that allows both ends to be left happy with the service provided. I have chosen to use AirBnB as my entrepreneurial innovation as I often use this service when it comes to weekends away with friends or long family holidays. Another reason for choosing AirBnB is because I see it as a very successful idea that has coped with its issues with the upmost productivity and efficiency. The company is a sustainable long tern business that seems to have the ability to navigate through turbulent times such as the Covid pandemic.

B.

The Mission for the company would be to "provide temporary housing for people sleeping on the street".

The Vision for the company is to "Become affiant enough to eradicate homelessness"

The strategic objective for the company is to develop a system that allows everyday people that use Airbnb's services as a partner or a customer to help those around them within their localities.

c.

The Business Model for the Non-profit organisation begins with creating a healthy partnership with AirBnB. By utilising the software and database that we have we can then find empty residences that are operated by AirBnB or a third party agent and match them with homeless people looking for a place to sleep that night. To help with operating costs we can advertise the project on the international AirBnB website and ask for donations from customers as well as partners.

d.

The goal of sustainability in business is to balance the economic, social, and environmental responsibilities that every business has. Businesses have a social responsibility to take care of not only their workers but also the societies around them and this is paramount to make it a sustainable and long life venture. In the long run the innovation would be able to have instant solutions in place for people who are a victim of homelessness and be able to create an infrastructure that is reliable and effective on the grass route level.
