Hi, I need help with the law, application and conclusion part of this case. Apparently, the law in this case is "intent to create legal relations". I need help to elaborate on that. So, maybe the relevant legal principles, mainly from leading or precedence cases and/or common law if applicable.

I have highlighted what roughly needs to be done in the application area too. and help me to reach a conclusion on what the court would decide as amend result would also be great. Thank you in advance.

QUESTION 3 Three good friends named Carrie, Samantha and Charlotte often go on holiday together. This year they decide to go to Hawaii for 10 days. Upon their arrival they are presented with a ier announcing a Hula competition in 8 days' time. The top prize for the best Hula performance is $5,000.00 dollars. Quite tipsy from their drinks they decide to enter the competition although it is a whooping 5200 entry fee per person which would mean a lot less cocktails at the beach bar for them. They do their secret handshake and agree to all put the money in and that whoever wins they will split the money equally for even more cocktails. Over the next seven days the ladies all practice, some more than others but they are all looking forward to the competition. The evening nally arrives, and they all participate in the Hula competition which sees Charlotte as the lucky winner. The ladies then spent the evening celebrating her win and dreaming about which cocktails they will drink with their share. The following day, hungover Charlotte tells the others that she has to keep the money for herself as she has been struggling financially and that she actually has trained a lot harder than the other two. Carrie and Samantha are both very upset and said that they had an agreement. Charlotte's response \"I am sorry ladies, but we never had a legally binding signed contract and I did all the work to win the competition so I am keeping the prize money\". Carrie, Samantha, and Charlotte wentto Hawaii for ten days this year. All three women enter a hula competition for $200.00 each, with a chanceto win $5,000.00. A handshake agreement was made, if one of them won the competition, they agreed to split the prize money equally. Charlotte won, but due to nancial difculties, she decided to keep all ofthe money instead of sharing it as previously agreed. Carrie and Samantha dispute Charlottes decision. ISSUE: The issue in this case is whether or not Carrie, Samantha and Charlotte intended to create legal relations in their agreement. LAW: Intention to create legal relations APPLICATION: Apply the legal principles you have identied in the \"Lani\" section above to the facts ofthe situation in the problem.
