Working in groups of 2 to prepare a 10 to 15 minute PowerPoint presentation on one of the topics listed below. Each group will present on a different topic. All presentations will be shared with the class

1) Draw upon the brainstorming notes below to identify and discuss themes relevant to your topic.

2) Discuss your topic from both the employee and employer perspective.

3) Identify and discuss the main obligations of any provincial or federal government legislation that you find applies.

The presentations will be timed and scored.

• All group members must present a portion of their presentation
• All class members are expected to listen and ask questions following the presentation
• Make sure that your presentation includes an introduction and a summary
