Multi-discipline Web-Based Unit Overview
This project is to develop an original multi-discipline web-based unit (course or project) that will be taught completely online. Your cross-curricular project should cover at least 3 modules (think of a module as an activity where students learn content and an activity around that content - you course can be longer if necessary) worth of content, be standards based, and include a performance-based assessment for students. You will be required to fully develop and publish your online course.
MOOC Sites to review:
The following sites are free Massive Online Open Courses (MOOCs) for you to review to gain design and project ideas. Your final project can be based on an idea you find online, but it must be your original work.

i. At least two OERs to introduce content, with one of them being something you've created.

Development Sites:
The following are free sites dedicated to creating online courses. You can choose one of these sites, identify one on your own, or use a webhost (Wix, Google Sites, Weebly) . A word of caution when looking at website hosts, be sure to review the project requirements to determine if the site / host you choose has the capabilities required and you want. It's been my experience that many of the website hosts don't offer the interactivity and ease of design of some of the dedicated online course sites.
