HOA Building Request The shape of the shed is fixed by the Homeowner's Association (HOA), but the dimensions are up to you. You're in charge of pouring concrete as the base, constructing 4 walls, and constructing a gable roof. Your shed will look similar to the drawing shown below. HOA Build Specifications The shed walls under the eave ends should be 7, set high, and the pitch of the roof from the eave to the ridge must be a 45-degree angle (see example be ow). HOA Building Request MTH/210 v7 Page 2 of 3 The footprint of the shed (i.e., the amount of space it takes up on the ground) cannot exceed the 15 feet by 15 feet square patch of open space you have available in your yard. Furthermore, the HOA says your shed must contain at least 600 cubic feet of space and cannot exceed 1100 cubic feet of space. Shed Calculations Complete the following calculations for approval by the HOA. Let L be the length of your shed (the distance along the eave), and let W be the width of your shed. Start each answer on a new line. Identify 3 measurements that can be made in one dimension that are involved in the construction of the shed. Identify 4 two-dimensional shapes that are involved in the construction of the shed. You're welcome to add a door and/or windows to the shed if you like. List the dimensions of the base for the shed
